Consumables are Items that are used up or consumed when activated. This category lists the known consumables in Heroica. Most consumables tend to be used on a Player character, Ally, enemy, or combination. Some, upon being used, will affect an item.

Restorative[]

These items restore health and ether, and remove effects.

  • Purifying Water (Removes all negative effects from all allies.) ₳
  • Purging Water (Removes all positive effects from all enemies.) ₳
  • Neutralizer (Removes all temporary effects from all allies and opponents when consumed.) ℳ
  • Phoenix Essence (Revives a fallen target with full health during a battle.) ℳ
  • Phoenix Incense (Revives all knocked out party members to full health during a battle.)
  • Fenghuang Essence (Automatically revives the target once upon KO for the duration of one battle when consumed.)
  • Fenghuang Incense (Automatically revives each party member once upon KO for the duration of one battle when consumed.)
  • Emergency Essence (If an Emergency Essence is in your inventory when you're knocked out, you'll be revived with half-hp. Otherwise, it can be used like a normal Phoenix Essence.)

  • Fearomone (Causes afraid-effect to all enemies for the duration of one battle; consumable)
  • Demon Repellent (Demons cannot attack the target directly for the duration of one battle or until the target is the last hero standing when consumed.)
  • Human Repellent (Makes the consumer impervious to direct attacks from humanoid enemies during one battle unless he is the last hero standing.)
  • Feather of Lithe (Causes the nimble-effect to target for the duration of one battle when consumed.)
  • Sphinx Stratagem (The target becomes immune to magic for the duration of one battle when consumed)
  • Tiger Balm (The target becomes immune to all effects for the duration of one battle when consumed.) ℳ
  • Bad Breath (Causes the poisoned by 1-effect to all enemies when consumed.) ₳
  • Wyvern’s Breath (Causes the poisoned by 10–effect to all enemies when consumed.) ₳
  • Lovely Perfume (All opponents become enamored with the user for 3 rounds when consumed.)
  • Wicked Perfume (All male humanoid opponents become enamored with the user, but all female humanoid opponents become encouraged when consumed.)
  • Heart Comb (Can be given to someone with hair to make them enamored with the user)
  • Jinxy Juice (Causes the jinxed-effect to target for the duration of one battle when consumed.)
  • Hexed Idol (Causes the hexed-effect to one humanoid enemy when consumed.)
  • Voodoo Doll (Causes the hexed-effect to one enemy type when consumed, has a 1/6 chance of breaking)
  • Minimizing Dust (Causes the minimized-effect to target for 3 rounds when consumed.)
  • Gorgonstone (Causes petrified to the target when consumed.)
  • Oculoid Miasma (Reduces target's level by 10.)
  • Flash Bomb (Causes Confused effect to the target for 3 rounds)
  • Pumpkin Bomb (Causes stunned-, poisoned by 1-, asleep-, blinded-, sealed- and confused-effects to all opponents when used.)
  • Trial Brew (Halves the target's max HP, max ether, and max SP for the duration of one battle when consumed. These effects are irremediable. Surviving a battle without getting knocked out in this state nets you double EXP. Being revived after being knocked-out removes these effects.)
  • Candycane of Doom (Causes doomed-effect to the target when used. Breaks after 6 uses.)
  • Soul Cage (Causes doomed-effect to all combatants.)

These items only provide permanent changes to the target's stats.

  • Carrot (Power +1 when consumed.)
  • Big Apple (Power +1 when consumed.)
  • Totally Dope Hair Gel (Power +3 when consumed.)
  • Chicken Drumstick (Max. health +1 when consumed.)
  • Greasy Sausage (Max. health +2 when consumed.)
  • Bucket of Buffalo Wings (Max. health +3 when consumed.)
  • Raw Meat (Max. health +5 when consumed.)
  • Ectoplasm (Max. ether +2 when consumed.)
  • Manafont (Max. ether +5 when consumed.)
  • Ella's Pie (Max. ether +5 but max. health -5 when consumed.)
  • Level Up Mushroom (Grants the hero one full level when consumed.)

Mixed[]

These items cause a combination of the above.

  • Cosmic Essence (Revives a knocked out ally with full health and ether and gives them the blessed-effect)
  • Demonic Incense (Revives all knocked out party members with 1 health and doomed-effect)
  • Herbal Infusion (Remove negative effects and cause blessed- and transcended-effects)
  • Blind Bomb (Deals 5 damage and the blinded-effect to all opponents when used.) ℳ
  • Confuse Bomb (Deals 5 damage and the confused-effect to all opponents when used.) ℳ
  • Poison Bomb (Deals 5 damage and the poisoned by 1-effect to all opponents when used.) ℳ
  • Seal Bomb (Deals 5 damage and the sealed-effect to all opponents when used.) ℳ
  • Sleep Bomb (Deals 5 damage and the asleep-effect to all opponents when used.) ℳ
  • Stun Bomb (Deals 5 damage and the stunned-effect to all opponents when used.) ℳ
  • Baffle Bomb (Causes 15 damage and the confused-effect to all enemies.) ₳

  • Bright Polish (Increases SP of any shield or artifact with SP by 1.)
  • Shining Polish (SP +2 to one shield or artifact that has SP when consumed.)
  • Sword of Asmodeus (Power +6 but max. health -6 when merged into an artifact at a smithy.)
  • Rod of Asmodeus (Spellpower +6 but max. ether -6 when merged into an artifact at a smithy.)
  • Cup of Asmodeus (Max. health +6 but power -6 when merged into an artifact at a smithy.)
  • Pentacle of Asmodeus (Max. ether +6 but spellpower -6 when merged into an artifact at a smithy.)
  • Writ of Blacksmith Service (Voucher for one free weapon or shield upgrade at Anwyl's Smithy)
  • Mythril (Can be forged into a weapon or shield at a smithy for 10 extra points. The piece of equipment gets the "Mythril"-prefix.)
  • Mythril Shard (A quarter of a full Mythril ore, used for mythrilizing equipment.)
  • Adamantite (Can be forged into a weapon or shield at a smithy for 25 extra points. The piece of equipment gets the "Adamantine"-prefix.)
  • Adamantite Shard (A quarter of a full Adamantite ore, used for adamantizing equipment.)
  • Mystril (Adds 10 spellpower when merged into a weapon at a smithy; can only be merged once per weapon, and never into shields; the weapon gets the “Mystic”-prefix.)
  • Mercutio's Blessing (Can be applied to one weapon to give it the following effect: gain 1 gold upon every successful hit.)
  • Sedative (Use on a weapon to make it cause the asleep-effect on any enemy it hits for the duration of one battle.)
  • Venom (Use on a weapon to make it cause the poisoned by 1-effect on any enemy it hits for the duration of one battle, making the poisoned enemy lose 1 health each turn. Several venoms can be used to increase the effect.) ℳ
  • Deadly Venom (Use on a weapon to make it cause the poisoned by 10-effect on any enemy it hits for the duration of one battle, making the poisoned enemy lose 10 health each turn. Several venoms can be used to increase the effect.) ℳ
  • Crimson Venom (Use on a weapon to make it cause the poisoned by 7- and cursed-effects on any enemy it hits for the duration of one battle, making the poisoned enemy lose 7 health and 3 maximum health each turn. Several venoms can be used to increase the effect.)
  • Everlasting Venom (Adds the poisoned by 10-effect to one weapon permanently)
  • Paralyzing Venom (Use on a wepon to make it cause the slowed-effect on any enemy it hits for the duration of one battle.)
  • Pesticide (Can be used on a weapon to make it permanently deal double damage to vermin-type enemies; consumable.)
  • Tritech Enhancement (A device that can be attached to any weapon inseparably. The enhanced weapon ignores defense and damages undead.)

Miscellaneous[]

These items do not fit any other category.

  • Smoke Bomb (Allows the party to escape the battle.) ℳ
  • Feather of Flight (Allows the user to flee a battle when consumed.)
  • Feather of White (Allows the user to hide for up to three rounds, avoiding Free Hits. The effect ends if the user targets an enemy.)
  • Letter of Recommendation (Increases reputation with one of the seven main factions depending on the user's choice.)
  • Teleportapple (Allows the party to travel instantly to any revealed Sanctuary within the Fields of Glory once when consumed.)
  • Fate's Orb (Allows a party member to choose their next roll in battle.)
  • Rum (Give it to any common sailor or pirate to befriend them.)
  • Bone (Distracts the target for the duration of 1 round, preventing Free Hits. Worth nothing, except in magic shops where it is worth 5 gold.)
  • Ancient Bone (Distracts the target for the duration of 3 rounds, preventing Free Hits. Worth nothing, except in magic shops where it is worth 50 gold.)
  • Skeleton Decoy (Can be used to absorb enemy Free Hits for up to 20 points of damage before it breaks.)
  • Deluxe Skeleton Decoy (Can be used to absorb enemy Free Hits for up to 100 points of damage before it breaks.)
  • Last Wish Powder (Turns the targeted enemy into an undead that will join a necromancer’s army automatically after being defeated; if there is no necromancer present, the enemy will be fully revived as an undead type and will have to be fought again, but it won’t drop anything; cannot be used on demon, holy, ethereal or mechanical enemies.)
  • Lamp of Summoning (Summons an Elemental Jinn for the duration of one battle. Can be used three times. Elemental Jinn has Power of 10, 25 health, deals elemental damage, on a roll of Shield protects itself and user from damage the next round and on a critical hit deals double damage.)
