Heinrich Hinckwell is the current head of the wealthiest family in Eubric (although the Shadeaux might beg to differ), and a direct descendant of Lady Luck, one of the original Veterans of Heroica. He is an ambitious merchant and a fearless swordsman, although he has a tendency of being superstitious. He is the husband of Laureline and father of two sons, Lorcan and Lyren. At the 400th Foundation Ball, he announced the engagement of his son Lyren to Bellanotte Shadeaux, the daughter of his rival, but it was quickly called off after a Wolfgang attack ruined the party by hypnotizing the guests to assault each other.
